Mildred Shropshire Phillips, 81, of Archdale, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 31, 1937, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Avery Monroe Shropshire and the late Mamie Wall Shropshire. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and a member of Sure Foundation Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Phillips and wife Lisa of Archdale; sister, Jackie Stroud and husband Leonard of Archdale; grandchildren, Lee Phillips, Laurin Phillips, Katie Phillips, and Garrett Weisner; great-grandchildren, Carlee and Branson Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Phillips; and son, Kevin Phillips.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Ebenezer Memorial Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
