Mildred Stroud Jessup, 93, of Hedgecock Rd., passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Born October 21, 1922 in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Raymer Stroud and the late Edna Owens Stroud. Mrs. Jessup was a retired seamstress with thirty-five years of service with Carson Upholstery and she was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy DeHart of High Point and Edna Rimmer and husband Sam of Beaufort; special friend, Boyce Horne; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Larry Jessup and Darrel Jessup; sisters, Margaret Martin and Bernice Craver; and brother, Ernest Stroud.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Floral Garden Park.
