Mike Williamson

Harvey Michael “Mike” Williamson, 78, of Archdale, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at High Point Medical Center.

Born October 20, 1946, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Harvey “Sandy” Williamson and the late Margaret Cox Williamson. Mike was a barber in Archdale for sixty-three years and formerly owned and operated Plaza Barber Shop. He attended Hope Baptist Church in Sophia.

On November 30, 2002, he married Donette Wolfe Williamson of Archdale. Mike is also survived by his children, Angela Blevins, Julie Brim and husband Scott, Donald Hethcox and wife Tracy, and Danielle Ingram and husband Jamie; grandchildren, Madison Blevins and husband Isaac Dove, Brooke Blevins, Autum Irvin and husband Demerias, Nick Blevins, Blake Hethcox, and Andrea Ingram; great-grandchildren, Chase Hyatt, Brayden Dove and Kyler Blevins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Forest Williamson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Hope Baptist Church, 4872 Old Edgar Road, Sophia, NC 27350, with Pastor Steve McSwain and Pastor Casey Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
