Michael “Mike” Hayworth Kivett, 71, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home.

Born August 19, 1954, in Portsmouth, VA, he was a son of Henry Hayworth Kivett and Geraldine Pierce Kivett, both of Archdale. Mike was a retired furniture upholster with Carson’s Furniture with over eighteen years of service. He was a longtime member of Crossover Community Church, formerly Reavis Memorial Baptist Church, and an avid Atlanta Braves and UNC Tar Heel fan. Mike loved his family deeply and was a devoted, husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dara Maners Kivett of the home; son, Brian Kivett (Jennifer) of High Point; daughter, Jennifer Hege (Brad) of Archdale; grandchildren, Hayley Kivett, Andrew Kivett, Jack Hege, and Ben Hege; brother, Tracy Kivett of Thomasville; and sister, Randi Kirby (Kevin) of Browns Summit; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Kivett.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Crossover Community Church with Rev. Darryl Love officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to Leslie’s House, or Hospice of Randolph County.
