Michael Sarasin

Michael Anthony Sarasin, 57, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Born July 22, 1967, in Milwaukee, WI; a son of Richard and Gloria Charles Sarasin.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Lynn Sarasin.

Michael attended Waukesha High School in Wisconsin for 3 years and graduated from Howell High School after a job transfer carried the family to New Jersey.

Michael worked in Fiberoptics and Telecommunications, which included installing fibro-optics for several Florida State prisons, operating his own business, Cabling Resource, LLC, for seven years, and a five-year stint at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, loving heart, sense of humor and his outgoing personality.

Left to cherish his memory, his parents, Richard and Gloria Sarasin; brother, Richard Sarasin, Jr. and wife Joni; sisters, Pamela Wheeler and husband Douglas, Renee Rassmussen and husband Eric, and Christine Stoke and husband Laban; along with several nieces and nephews.

No formal services are planned at this time; mourning will be private.
