Michael Scott Lanehart

Michael Scott Lanehart, 64, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 16, 1955, in Howell, Michigan, he was a son of the late William Scott Lanehart and the late Lois Dillman Lanehart. Mr. Lanehart was a Petty Officer First Class in the US Navy having served on the USS Apopka.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Osborne Lanehart; daughters, Rachel Lanehart, and Jessica Lanehart; brother, Mark Lanehart and wife Ann; brother-in-law, Dale Woods; grandchildren, Lukas Dedinas, Lydia Dedinas, and Eleanor Lanehart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Woods.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2020, in Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.
