Kirby Michael Kennedy, 56, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 5, 1960, in Thomasville, he was a son of the late Carolyn Collins Kennedy and the late Kirby Lawrence Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was the owner of KM Kennedy Construction who performed all aspects of construction. He enjoyed all forms of racing with his longtime friend, Dwight Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Jane Saunders Kennedy of the home; daughter, Michelle Hernedez of Thomasville; sons, Brandon Kennedy and wife Danina, and Kirby Lee Kennedy all of High Point; step-sons, Emery Galloway and wife Shannette of Thomasville, Christopher Galloway and wife Heather of High Point; and fourteen grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Kennedy Bryson.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
