Michael Jerome Johnson, Jr.

Michael Jerome Johnson, Jr., 36, of High Point, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at Oak Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 29, 1985, in High Point, he was a son of Michael Jerome Johnson, Sr. of High Point, and the late Lonnette Strickland Johnson. Michael was a member of Kingdom Minded Citizens Worship Center and a talented musician.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Lucitria Malloy Johnson of the home; son, Jael Johnson of High Point; daughter, Kierri Johnson of High Point; brother, Kace Nick of High Point; sisters, Shantana Davis and husband Kris of Charlotte, Precious Weddington and husband Darius of King, and Christy Johnson of Greensboro.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Pastor Jeanell McIver officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
