Michael Hershkowitz, 70, of Colfax, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 27, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Samuel Hershkowitz and the late Beatrice Fishman Hershkowitz. Mr. Hershkowitz was veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam and was a retired sales rep with Service Liquor for twenty-three years. He loved 50’s “doo wop” music, movies, and was an avid NY Yankees fan.

Mr. Hershkowitz is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Patricia Anne Savolt of the home, son, Erik Hershkowitz of Winston-Salem; and brother, David Hershkowitz of Toronto.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with Rabbi Mark Cohn officiating.
