Michael Lynn Davis, 67, of High Point, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born November 7, 1950, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Ray Davis and the late Virginia Biles Davis. Mr. Davis was employed with Crescent Autos, and was a Fire Marshall with the High Point Fire Department with ten years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and had a passion for life and music only second to God. His love of music gave us many memories and lots of friends that will help his sprit live on.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Hall Davis of the home; sons, Shane Davis and wife Lesan of Ohio, and Heath Davis of Mocksville; daughter, Kara Thornton and husband Scott of Stoneville; grandchildren, Noah Thornton, Chasten Davis and Lilabeth Davis.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Deep River Friends Meeting with Rev. Scott Wagner and Rev. Kathy Kellum officiating.

In honor of his granddaughter, Chasten Davis, memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis, 4550 Montgomery Ave., Suite 1100 N, Bethesda, MD 20814.
