Melissa Owenby Dotson

Melissa Owenby Dotson, 49, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born May 29, 1973, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Garry Owenby and the late Sarah Hunt Owenby.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Mitchem of Raleigh and Haley Dotson of Australia; brother, David Owenby and wife Julia of Archdale; sister, Jennifer Hopkins and husband Johnny of Sophia; grandchildren, Natalie Mitchem, Julia Morales-Mitchem, Andres Colon, and Camila Morales-Mitchem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mason Dotson; and brother, Justin Owenby.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
