Max McCrary Bulla, 82, of Trinity, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Thomasville. He was born in Randolph County, on December 29, 1938. Max was in declining for one year and had been in critical condition for four weeks due to COVID-19.
He was a member of Mt. Vernon Methodist United Methodist Church, graduated from Trinity High School, and attended various colleges while studying automotive technology. Max retired from the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina at Camp Caraway after twenty-five years of service. He married the former Clara Pauline Newby on May 3, 1969.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sisters, Oleta Bulla White, Jackie Bulla Burton; nieces, Judy Reynolds, Wixie Lookabill, and Amy Smith.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Crady officiating. Face-coverings and social distancing requested.
The family would like to thank Walter McNeil, Jimmy Hoffman, Wixie Lookabill, and Vickie Davis for their help over the last year.
