Mary Frances Seesengood Venable, 80, of Summit Rd., passed away peacefully Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her home.

Born January 19, 1936 in Poplar Bluff, MO, she was a daughter of the late Henry William Seesengood and the late Rosa Evelyn Scoggins Seesengood. Mrs. Venable was an extraordinary mother and grandmother who loved and was loved by many who called her second mother. She had an amazing ability to love unconditionally. Her favorites were long talks on the porch, nature, gardening, the beach and traveling.

Mrs. Venable is survived by her son, Kenneth Venable and wife Dana of Oakridge; grandson, Lee Venable of Oak Ridge; brother, Bob Seesengood and wife Carolyn of AR; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Kenneth Venable; son, Michael Joseph Venable; brothers, John Seesengood, Herman Seesengood, Frederick Seesengood and sister, Ann Sherrod.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church, 2311 Westchester Dr., High Point, with Rev. Doug Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
