Mary Alice (Cornwell) Lortie

Mary Alice Cornwell Lortie, 93, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 22, 1927, in McHenry County, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Lee Cornwell and the late Marion Rita Deneen. Mrs. Lortie was a retired registered nurse and of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Richard Lortie of  Winston-Salem; daughters, Rita Ellen Meredith and husband Doug of High Point, Jayne Alice Wright and husband Randy of Hamptonville, and Michele Terece Valle and husband Peter of Idaho; twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Patrick Lortie, and sister, Margaret Ann Lortie.
