Mary Grace Bean

Mary Grace Simmons Bean, 65, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Simmons and the late Margaret Eichelberger Simmons. Mary was a controller in the clothing industry.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Bean of the home; daughters, Wendy Bean (David) and Nicole Bean both of Thomasville; brothers, Carroll Simmons, Jr. (Susan) and Patrick Simmons (Debbie); sisters, Patricia Welfare and Carol Ann Scott (Steve); sister-in-law, Mary Simmons; grandchildren, Thomas Simmons (Savanah), Taylor McGuire (Javan), Angel Baisden (Raven), Kaleigh Bean, and Mackenzie Reaves(Will); and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Bean, daughter-in-law, Rebecca Bean, and brother, William Simmons.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
