Mark Raymond Craven

Mark Raymond Craven, 67, of High Point, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at Hinkle House Hospice of Davidson County.

He was born November 22, 1956, in Guilford County to James Ralph Craven and Melva Campbell Craven.

Mark was a graduate of Ledford High School and attended Springhill Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy L. Aman.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Spell Craven; son, Brad Craven and wife Marie of Asheboro; daughter, Christy Kimball and husband Bryan of Asheboro; stepson, Gregg Helmstetler and wife Sherry of Archdale; stepdaughter, Sherry Shoaf and husband Dan of Greensboro; grandchildren, Asher Craven, Nolan Craven, Madison Kimball, Tyler Kimball, Christopher Helmstetler, Tyler Helmstetler, Ryan Chapman and Leyton Wainright; great grandchild, Azaleah Chapman; and his brother, Mike Craven and wife Jan.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel; 1720 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC.

The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County; 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
