Listen to Obituary

Mark Randalle Brewer, 69, of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving children after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mark was born in High Point, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Brewer and Douglas Brewer, and his brother, Steve Brewer.

He is survived by his beloved children, Adria Welch (Ethan) and Corbin Brewer (Kara); his cherished grandchildren, Maddox Welch, Elliot Brewer, Harper Brewer, and Finn Welch; and his siblings, Jeff Brewer, Rick Brewer, Vikki Patterson, Kevin Brewer and Penny Rogers who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Mark retired from RJR Tobacco Company in Tobaccoville, where he dedicated many years of hard work and commitment. In retirement, he poured his time and energy into the things he loved most—his boat, working with his hands, and especially his grandchildren. Mark found great joy in building projects for them, teaching them through action, and remodeling houses, always creating something meaningful and lasting.

Above all, Mark was a devoted father and grandfather. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Burial will be private at Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the things he built, and the love he shared so freely with his family.

Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point is in charge of arrangements.
