Marjean Kampe Purcell, 87, of Colfax, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at River Landing at Sandy Ridge.

Born February 14, 1930, in Rahway, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Kampe and the late Dorothy Long Kampe. Mrs. Purcell was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Edward Purcell of TX, Amy Purcell and husband Tommy Lambeth of Colfax, William Purcell and wife Molly of KY, and James Purcell and wife Leigh of IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth, William, Aaron, Maximilian, Palmer, Emma, and Mia; step-grandchildren, Nathan, William, and Grace.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Purcell.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Second Presbyterian Church, 770 North Meridian St., Indianapolis. IN 46260.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service in the church parlor.
