Marilyn Elizabeth (Mcmahon) Hartsock

Marilyn “Mari” Hartsock, of Albemarle, NC passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

She was born on April 15, 1936 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to the late William and Mildred McMahon.

She earned a degree in business in Beaumont, Texas. Mari enjoyed a long, fulfilling career in Real Estate, in Stanly County, NC.

Mari enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and cooking. She was active in the Woodcrest Garden Club, The Senior Center, and volunteered for Homes of Hope.

Mari was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard Hartsock, her brother, William McMahon, and her grandson, Connor Beeson.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Murdock of Fletcher, NC, Christine Beeson (Reggie) of Sophia, NC, and Linda Banashek (Jon) of Boulder, CO. She is also survived by four grandsons, one great granddaughter, two nieces, and a nephew, all of whom she loved dearly.

Mari’s life will be celebrated with a private family service.
