Marie Szoke Kimpan, 92, of High Point, formerly of Romania, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Westchester Manor.

Mrs Kimpan was born June 18, 1925 in Capilnita, Romania the daughter of

Istvan and Veronica Elekes Szoke. She was an elementary school teacher and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Surviving is a son Eugene Campian and wife Dorina of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Susane Behrend and E. Christian Campian; four great grandchildren, Jacob, Anouk, Alexander and Catherine.

A memorial mass will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church by Rev. Thomas P. Norris OSFS. The family will receive friends before the service from 9 until 9:45 AM.
