Margot Walton

Margot Filipowitz Walton, 82, of High Point, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point.

Born September 6, 1942, in Danzig, Germany. She worked in the administrative area of a furniture company and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and friend. Margot was a nurturing care giver by nature and found joy and purpose by growing and caring for her flowers, garden, and relationships with friends and family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Walton of Tennessee and James Walton and wife Debbie of Archdale; and brother, Klaus Filipowitz of Berlin, Germany.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Walton.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Steve McSwain officiating.
