Margaurite "Rita" Lorraine Ali

Margaurite “Rita” Lorraine Cross Ali, 59, of High Point, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born December 5, 1965, in Goldsboro, NC; she was a daughter of the late Robert Earl Cross and of the late Carolyn Sills Cross Franklin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Walter Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory; Sons Khalid Ali, and Ahmer Ali; daughters, Shannon Mahan. Elizabeth Philemon, Caitlin Nadeau; grandchildren, Hayley Mahan and Zia Malik; sisters, Bobbie Sant Heaney (Jon) and Robin Bailey (David); brothers, Algenon Franklin, and Alvesta Franklin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations. Burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM Friday, July 18, 2025, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
