Margaret Robbins Holden

Margaret Robbins Holden,68, of Trinity, N.C. passed away on Wednesday, March 25,2020 at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Margaret was born in Thomasville, N.C. to J. Alby Robbins and Helen Floyd Robbins. She was raised on a dairy farm in Trinity, N.C. with her sisters Linda and Carolyn Marie and brothers Hubert and “Jimmy”.

Margaret married in 1973 to Eddie Holden. She is a beloved mother and is survived by her daughters Amanda Simmons and husband Sammy, Stacy Pulaski and husband Johnnie, Heather Vineyard and husband Mark; grandchildren Bailee, Alby, Dalton, Josey and Scotlyn.

Margaret graduated from Trinity High School. She worked at several different occupations over the years, most recently as a preschool teacher. She loved horses and vacationing at the beach with her family. She was a valued member of her church family at Hopewell United Methodist Church. She was lovely, intelligent and kind Remembered for her beautiful green eyes, her smile, her selfless nature, generosity and love. Margaret loved with her whole heart. She was a selfless mother who dedicated her entire life to loving her girls, their friends, the sons-in-law, cousins and “adopted “ family, the Schofield’s, but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. Margaret’s first grandchild was born in 2005. Four more followed over the next decade. “Mamaw” was by far her favorite distinction. She will be sorely missed.

A celebration of her life will be planned at a later time.
