Maggielena Surrett Adams, 76, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Woodland Hill Center.

Born April 10, 1941, in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Surrett and the late Nellie Mae Love Surrett. Mrs. Adams was a loving homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Jessie Lee Stockman, Jr. of Trinity; daughter, Pamela S. Hill and husband George Joyce, III of Asheboro; brothers, J.B Surrett and wife Linda of IA, Lewis Surrett of IA, Elmer Surrett of SC, and Gene Surrett of SC; sisters, Polly S. McQueen and husband Jimmy of SC; grandchildren, Ashley May and husband Calvin, and Justin Hill and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren, Levi, Xavier, and Jaylen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Adams in 2015; and brother, Mickey Surrett.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Guil-Rand Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
