Lydia Hawkins Watson

Lydia Hawkins Watson, 84, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Trinity Glen Nursing Home.

Born December 19, 1935, in Macon, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Hawkins and the late Selma Colson Hawkins. Mrs. Watson was a retired real estate property manager, loved traveling and taught the Lydia Watson Sunday School Class at Green Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Newton Watson, III of the home;daughter, Melanie Cooke (Rob); brother, Ashley Hawkins and wife Kris of Forsyth, Georgia; sisters, Mary Ann Collins and husband Norman of Roswell, Georgia, and Jane Walker of McRae, Georgia; grandchildren, Matt Millman, Brandon Cooke, and Lauren Cooke; great-grandchildren, Avery Cooke, Lucas Cooke, and Hope Cooke.
