Lucy Faye Beeson

Lucy Faye Beeson, 82, of Archdale, passed away on June 23, 2020 at Wake Forest Medical Center of High Point.

Lucy was born in Stokes County, NC to Vallie and Rufus Smith on March 27, 1938. She married Leroy Beeson on February 13, 1964. They have been happily married for over 56 years. She loved to cook and clean around the house. She also enjoyed visiting Shatley Springs with her sisters whenever they had an opportunity. The joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved with all her heart.

Lucy is preceded in death by her mother Vallie Lawson Smith, her father Rufus Smith, her sisters Ruth Ann Smith and Helen Louise Nifong.

Lucy is survived by her husband Leroy Beeson, her daughters Laura Mosley (Jennings) and Phyllis Haynes (Tim), her son Paul Beeson (Rena), her sisters Racheal Earnhart and Mary Jo Whitfield (Bobby), her brother Dennis Smith, her grandchildren Coy, Kerri, Kristina, Billy, Josh, Jordan, and Caleb, her great grandchildren Baby Girl, Preston, Kasyn, and James, her special aunt Eva. She also leaves behind many cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held 10am Saturday June 27, 2020 at Burton Street Missionary Church located at 1309 W. Burton Avenue, High Point, NC 27262.
