Louise Hazlett Heston-Cools, 101, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at her home.
Born May 19, 1920, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Cameron Hazlett and the late Hazel Sober Hazlett. Mrs. Heston-Cools was a retired registered nurse and a forty-five-year member of St Stephens Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach. Louise was a busy lady and a loyal fun-loving friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Heston Mayberry of Greensboro; grandchildren, Ashley Owens (Bill), and James Thomas Mayberry, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Steven Martin, Samantha Martin, and Abby Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Harold Heston, Jr., and her second husband, Arthur Cools.
Services will be at a later date.
