Lonnie Baxley, Jr

Lonnie Hagood Baxley, Jr., 91, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at his home at Piedmont Crossing.

He was born January 8, 1934, in Mullins, SC, to the late Lonnie Hagood Baxley, Sr., and to the late Beulah Mae Turner Baxley.

Mr. Baxley was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Greensboro for 40 years and later Rich Fork Baptist Church in Thomasville.

Lonnie served in the US Air Force and upon being honorably discharged, worked for Western Electric and later retired from AT&T.

Left to cherish his memory, his wife, Jackie Dominy Baxley; son, Randall Baxley; daughter, Vicki Camp; and his grandchildren, Christopher Baxley, Jarod Baxley (McKayla), Travis Camp, Jonathan Camp (Stephanie)
