Lonnette Stricklin Johnson

Lonnette Stricklin Johnson, 55, of Greensboro, NC was born on June 23, 1965 in Fair Bluff, NC to Franklin Ray Stricklin and Clara Stricklin.

She was a recent member of Maximizing Life Family Worship Center in Greensboro, NC and was a member of Word of Reconciliation Ministries for over 30 years.

Lonnette was proceeded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.

Lonnette grew up in High Point, NC where she attended and graduated from T.W. Andrews High School. Lonnette was a true angel on earth and a bright spot in the lives of so many people. She was a “motherly figure” to many- from neighborhood kids, to those she taught at church, to random kids in the store. Her love for the Lord was undeniable. She never missed an opportunity to tell others how good God had been to her. She was also a big fan of race car driving although she never drove. She was also a huge Cowboys fan! Lonnette truly lived for her grandkids. She loved putting smiles on their faces every moment she could. Lonnette has truly made a mark in the world and she will be greatly missed!

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Shantana (Kristopher) Davis of Charlotte, NC, Precious (Darius) Weddington of Kernersville, NC, and Christy Johnson of Greensboro, NC; one son, Michael (Lucitria) Johnson of High Point, NC. Nine grandchildren: Sean, Jael, Jihmire, Kierri, Jeremiah, Tyler, London, Isaiah, Caleb; Two sisters, Teresa Strickland of High Point, NC and Tonya (Brian) Patterson of Greensboro, NC; four brothers, Robbie (Linda) Strickland of High Point, NC, Timmy (Angie) Strickland of Raeford, NC, David (Amy) Strickland and Daniel Strickland, all of Rural Hall, NC; Additional Children, Renee Dowdy-Lewis and Jobias Jackson of Greensboro, NC and a host of “sons and daughters,” nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
