Lola White Gibson, 93, of High Point, formerly of Jamestown NC, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Pennybyrn.
Born in Independence, MO, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Crosby White and the late Nina Phelps White
Ms. Gibson is survived by her son, Jim Gibson and wife Debbie of Greensboro, NC; daughters, Jamie Forbis and husband Dennis of Jamestown, NC, Janet Tate and husband Donnie of Danville, VA, and Loralee Delmas and husband Steve of Oologah, OK; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her brother Harold White of Independence, MO, sister Lena White Cahill of Houston TX, and nephew Bobby Dameron of Pollock TX.
Lola and her sister Lena were well known as rodeo trick riders and ropers, touring the country in the 1940s and ’50s. She resided a large portion of her life in Nowata, OK as a farmer and rancher.

A funeral service will not be held. The immediate family will hold a private remembrance celebration at a later date.
