Lois Miller Hundley passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Lois was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on January 2, 1936, to James Miller and Anna Lucas Miller (both deceased). She moved to Greensboro, NC, in 1957, where she raised her three children. In 1974, her job as a federal investigator with the Department of Labor required her to move to Memphis, TN, where she resided in Germantown, TN. Lois moved back to NC in 1989, still working for the Department of Labor, after her first (of four) granddaughters was born. When Lois retired in 1996, she served as a Guardian Ad Litem for Randolph County for many years. She lived in Archdale and then in High Point until she passed.
Lois was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She loved her four granddaughters and enjoyed attending their school activities, cheering for them in their sporting endeavors and cheering them on in all aspects of life, as well. She was thrilled to be able to see, hold and embrace, during this pandemic, her 9-month-old great-granddaughter visiting from Los Angeles.
Lois’s older brother, James (Norma) Miller, also preceded her in death.
Lois is survived by her son, James R (Betsy) Hundley, daughters, Pamela Hundley Hopper, and Suzanne Hundley; granddaughters, Elizabeth (Kristopher) Hundley Wile, Rebecca Hundley, Carolyn (Michael) Hopper Rose, and Isabella Hundley; great-granddaughter, Saoirse Wile; sister-in-law, Norma Miller; nephews, Ron (Eileen) Miller, Neal (Martha) Miller; great-nieces, Becky (Jonathan) Miller Stegmann, and Jenny Miller.
No services are planned.
