Linda Louise Price Mead, 77, of High Point, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Westchester Harbour.

Born October 24, 1940, in Fairmont, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Edward Price and the late Catherine Horner Price.  Mrs. Mead earned a BS in Education from Fairmont State College and was a school teacher and homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Jim Gougheour and wife Kit of Charlotte; daughter, Sandi Goughenour Pascual and husband Rudy of High Point; brother Ted Price and wife Sandy of Maryland; sister Nancy Price Heckman and husband Ron of Maryland; grandchildren Evan, Avery and Noah.  She is also survived by her first husband and father of her children James F. Goughenour and wife Tressa of Greensboro, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Glen Mead.

Memorial Services will be conducted in the Chapel at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at First United Methodist Church High Point, 512 North Main Street, High Point, NC, 27260, with the Reverend Debra Swing officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Child Enrichment Scholarship Fund, 512 North Main Street, High Point, NC, 27260.
