Linda Johnson

Linda Cox Johnson, 85, of Archdale, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Hospice Home of High Point.

Born February 29, 1940, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Jerome Buster Cox and the late Hyacinth Beatrice Tuttle Cox.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Raythal Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tommy Gordon (Debbie) of Trinity, Kenny Gordon (April) of Trinity, Patrick Johnson (Tonya) of Trinity; sister Carol Slack of High Point; grandchildren, Lucas Board (Karla), Joshua Board (Meg), Amanda Morgan (Bill), Scott Gordon (Brooke), Candice Meadows (Fredie), Kaitlyn Pendell (Austin), Allison Tuttle (Kyle), and Cameron Johnson; her great grandchildren, Kenedi, Asa, Georgia, Bella, Clara, Lilah, Selah, Lawson,  Landon, Garrett and Ryan; and her best friend, Betty Morrison.

Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Caraway Baptist Church, 2928 Beeson Farm Road, Sophia, NC  27350, with Pastor Fredie Meadows officiating.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff at Hospice of High Point for the excellent care of Linda during her illness.
