Linda Jones Cox, 72, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born June 30, 1947, in Stokes County, she was a daughter of the late William Jones and the late Dorothy Martin Jones.

Linda is survived by her sisters, Doris Hogue and husband Michael of Jamestown, Carolyn McMahan Roberts and husband Richard of High Point, and Annie Rhoades of Trinity; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Cox; and sister, Jean Higgins.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Green Street Baptist Church with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
