Lila Garrison Dickerhoff, 92, of High Point, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 16, 1925, in Free Union, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Rice Garrison and the late Mary Via Garrison. Mrs. Dickerhoff was a retired home health care registered nurse for the state of Florida, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Glenn E. Chorpening and wife Kathy Lynch, and Donald Lee Chorpening and wife Divina Guzman all of High Point; grandchildren, Kyle Chorpening and wife Sarah Hatheway, Rese Chorpening, and Matthew Chorpening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Dickerhoff.

Service celebrating her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Christ United Methodist Church.
