Libby was born in Lexington, North Carolina to Joseph McCrary and Elizabeth Copley on March 18, 1953.

Libby is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth McCrary.

Libby is survived by her son, Jason Coburn and wife Kimberly; and brothers, Rick McCrary and wife Carol, Mickey McCrary and wife Sherry.
