Leslie (Les) Winfield Jones, 71, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Hospice at High Point.

Born on January 26, 1947, in Lumberton, NC, he was a son of the late Manly Jones and Eva Willoughby Jones.

He is survived by his wife Deanna Jones of the home; son, Eric Jones and wife Tracy of McLeansville, VA; daughter, Kristin Cory and husband Tim of Charlottesville, VA; brother, Johnny Jones, of Calabash, NC; sister, Carolyn Britt and husband Gerald of Orrum, NC; and four grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2018, at his home.

Wright Cremation & Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
