Leisa Dawn (Elkes) Rollins

Leisa Dawn Elkes Rollins, 61, of Sophia, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home.

Born September 30, 1961, in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Elkes, Sr. and the late Margaret Ann Cheek Elkes. Leisa was a wonderful and devoted mother, who was strong in her faith and loved her dogs Patches, Cole and Lucy. She worked for the family business Elkes Carpet.

Leisa is survived by her son, Zachary Rollins (Stephanie) of Colorado; brother, Robert Elkes, Jr. and wife Janice of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Teresa Elkes of Archdale. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-eight years, Robert “Robbie” Wayne Rollins, and brother, Marty Elkes, Sr.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022, in the Archdale chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Michael Kelly and Pastor Leroy Kelly officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
