Lavon Saunders Bowers

Lavon Saunders Bowers, 84, of High Point, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at High Point Medical Center.

Born April 16, 1938, in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Keech Saunders and the late Edith Perry Saunders.

Lavon is survived by her husband, John Alison Bowers of the home; nephews, Steve James and wife Judy, Terry Johnson and wife Clarice, John M. Bowers and wife Kathy; nieces, Katherine Stevenson and husband Roger, and Angela Beck and husband Clayton; and special cousin, Patricia Perry.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Holly Hill Memorial Cemetery in Thomasville with Godson, Dr. Brian Bohannon officiating.
