Laura Leigh Hodgin

Laura Leigh Holbrook Hodgin, 57, of Trinity NC, passed away on December 4th, 2018 in High Point NC.

Laura Leigh Hodgin was born in High Point NC to Connie Holbrook Shelton and Ronald Lee Holbrook on September 26, 1961. She married Ronald Lee Hodgin on February 14th, 2013. She graduated from Trinity High School and later completed her master’s in nursing. She worked as a nurse for over 35 years. She also taught nursing at ECPI in Greensboro NC. The past year she was a home care nurse with Kindred Home Care which was her true passion.

Laura Leigh Hodgin is preceded in death by her father Ronald Lee Holbrook. Also, by her grandfather Roy Staton and Grandmother Hazel Staton.

Laura Leigh Hodgin is survived by spouse Ronald Lee Hodgin, son Joshua Ferris and wife Angela of Randleman, son Brandon Ferris and wife Melissa, Chad Ferris and wife Mary, Chris Ferris and Noah Willard all of Trinity, step sons Ronald Dylan Hodgin and Thomas Julian Hodgin, mother Connie Holbrook Shelton and husband Larry Shelton of Trinity, sister Susan Holbrook Hunt of Burlington, brother Ron Holbrook Jr. and wife Teresa of Thomasville, brother Kevin Holbrook of Archdale, aunts Pasty Ozment, Linda Capps of trinity and Shirley Staton of Greer SC, uncle Roy (Buck) Staton and wife Sandi of Trinity.  Laura was also survived by three grandchildren, three step grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 22, 2018 starting at 2pm. Destination will be announced at a later time.
