Kenneth Darrell Safriet

Kenneth “Kent” Darrell Safriet, 77, of Archdale, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born June 30, 1948, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Wiley Wesley Safriet and the late Dorothy Bottoms Safriet.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Faye Safriet, Eva Mae Safriet, Barbara Ann Tucker, and Debbie Morrison.

Kent was the owner and operator of Hillsville Family Restaurant.

Left to cherish is memory; sons, Greg Safriet of Trinity, Charlie Safriet (Johnna) of Archdale, and Scott Safriet of Lexington, and Rodney Isom of Archdale; daughters, Augusta Safriet of Trinity, and Nicole Lockett (Juan) of Jamestown; grandchildren, Tootie Safriet, Teresa Safriet, Bradley Safriet, Ashley Safriet, Kaylee Safriet, Dylan Compton, Madison Gardner (Connor), Mackenzie Smith (Dylan), Mason Safriet, Alexus Williams, Nicholas Williams, and Joshua Johnson, Triston Isom; great grandchildren, Payton Safriet, Taghan Safriet, Aspen Safriet, Everly Safriet, Sabastian Mabe, Addison Freeman, Lacey Compton, Holland Gardner, Hudsyn Gardner, Aaliyha Delaney and Zia Williams; and brother, Johnny Safriet (Sherri); and special friends, Dwan McQueen, and Ramsy Campbell.

Memorial service will be 2:00PM Monday, June 22, 2026, at the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, with Pastor Jamie Stevenson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home.
