Kenneth Allen Martin

Kenneth Allen Martin, 82, of Winston Salem, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Westchester Harbour.

Born March 15, 1941, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Carl Martin and the late Verta Perryman Martin.  Kenneth graduated from High Point University and was a claims adjuster in the insurance industry.  He also was a member of Faith Church in Winston Salem.

He is survived by sons, Kenneth Martin, Jr of Glenn Allen, Virginia and Kevin R. Martin of Springboro, Ohio; daughter, Karla Jones (Steve) of Winston Salem; sisters, Judy Knopf (Timothy) of Clemmons, Brenda Kennedy of Winston Salem, and Joyce Howard (Jack) of High Point; and grandchildren, Mallory Jones, Hunter Jones, Ashley Martin, Ben Martin, and Mary Grace Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Ray Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, October 23, 2023, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Reverend Michael Gates officiating with burial at Floral Garden Park Cemetery

The family will visit with friends from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM prior to the service.
