Keith Gibson

Donavon Keith Gibson, 61, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home.

Born April 19, 1963, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Phillip Guy Gibson, Sr. and the late Elaine Spoon Lee. Keith was a good man with a huge heart that would help his friends and family with anything he could. From working on anything with an engine to any kind of project, you could always count on Keith to help. He loved living life to the fullest in his own way. Any given day, Keith could be found deep-sea fishing, riding his motorcycle, or just enjoying life. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. There was absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

Keith is survived by his son, Timothy Gibson; grandchildren, Jarrett, Takodta, Lucielle, Bryce, Cayden, Starla, and Remy; brothers, Phillip Gibson, Jr., JR Shuler, and Bo Gibson; sister, Tina Yates; stepmother, Violet Gibson; and Keith’s best friend of forty years, Buddy Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Debbie English, Tracey Shuler, Toby Lee, and Amanda Lee.

Keith was loved tremendously through life and will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
