Kathy Marie West

Kathy Marie Buck West, 68, of Archdale, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the Hospice Home of High Point.

Born June 18, 1958, in High Point, she was a daughter of the late Bobby Sherman Buck and the late Frances Marie Albright Buck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Buck.

Kathy was generous and loved by many. She enjoyed trips to the beach with friends and family. She loved and lived life to the fullest. When faced with illness, she held to the peace of Eternity to be with Jesus.

On March 18, 1995, she married the love of her life, Timothy Lee West, and together they spent 31 years together they had a daughter, Leah Clubb (Chris). Mom was a title she held dear, but Mimi was her favorite. Her delight was her grandchildren, Landon, Aaron, Ryan and Noah.

Her brothers, Forrest Buck (Debbie) and Robert “Bobby” Buck (Delane); sister, Lennis Montoya; and a niece and several nephews also will hold her memory dear.

A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled soon.

The family would love to express an abundance of gratitude to the loving care given to them by the staff of the Hospice Home at High Point. While the transition of life is difficult, they made it such a relief.
