Kathryn Elizabeth Eichhorn Schuttler, 78, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 12, 1947, in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Edward Eichhorn and the late Alberta Bartman Eichhorn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Schuttler; brother, Edward Eichhorn; and sister, Sharon Einsmann.

Those left to cherish her memory; her son Timothy Galunas and wife Nicole of Charleston, SC; daughters, Cynthia Ellas and husband Ed of Thomasville; Laurie Greenbaum and husband Rob of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Emily-Anne Ward (Dalton), Zachary Greenbaum, Abigail Rhyne (Nathan), Benjamin Greenbaum, Joshua Ellas, and Andrew Galunas; and great grandchildren, Titus and Ruth Ann Ward.

Memorial service will be 3:00PM Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel, with her son-in-law, Ed Ellas, officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

A private inurnment will be at Floral Garden Memorial Park cemetery.

Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point, is in charge of the arrangements.
