Junior White

Garnett Joshua “Junior” White, Jr., 81, of Trinity, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born October 30, 1939, in Buchanan, Virginia, he was a son of the late Joshua White and the late Elizabeth Muncy White. Junior was a former plant manager with Custom Processing, and former owner/operator of J.R.’s Corner Tavern in Jamestown.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Virginia Hooker White of the home; son, Kenneth White and wife Kathy of High Point; daughter, Paula White of Archdale; grandchildren, Kendra Parker, Kory White, Courtny Call, and Alexander White; great-grandchildren, Emma Call and Mira Parker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth L. White, Clyde E. White, and Eugene White, and sister, Ailien Hill.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. John Bellamy officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
