Judy Rose Harrington

Judy Rose Furr Harrington, 97, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Hospice Home at High Point,

Born August 23, 1929, in Bedford, Indiana, she was a daughter to the late Albert Tucker and the late Clara Victoria Corder Tucker. Judy worked as a supervisor in textiles and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Thomasville. She was the oldest daughter of 10, who loved the beach, animals, and always loved helping anyone in need. Judy loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a big President Trump supporter and made sure everyone knew it.

She is survived by a son, James F., Harrington III of Thomasville: daughter, Diane Allen of Badin Lake; sisters, Gloria Step (Dale), Carolyn Jones, and Chris Ferguson (Barney); grandchildren, Robbie Sink (Kim), Allison Long, Brayton Harrington, and Matthew Allen; great grandchildren, Dakota and Brody Long.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Harrington, Jr., brothers, Alfred Furr, Bob Furr, Jerry Tucker, Darrell Tucker, and Harold Tucker, and sister, Peggy Morris.

Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2026, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Thomasville with Pastor Reuben officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM.
