Judy Carol Carrick Binkley, 77, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away October 14, 2026 at her home.
Judy, known by most as, “Judy B,” was born in Lexington, North Carolina on February 9, 1949, to the late Manius Jack Carrick and Cornelia Leonard Carrick. Judy B grew up in Lexington and graduated from Central Davidson High School. Judy and her late husband, Robert Binkley, Sr., moved to Thomasville in 1976 and soon after, Judy began working for Thomasville Furniture Industry. She worked for TFI for nearly thirty years. After retiring, Judy knew that retirement was not for her. She worked for ten more years in the corporate office for Cook Out Restaurant Franchise as an office administrator. Judy was always hard working. At work, she loved being busy and being as involved as possible. She was always a very dependable coworker and friend. Even though working was something Judy loved to do, her family was the true love of her life. She was a dedicated mother and loving, fun and full-of-life grandmother and great grandmother. She nurtured relationships with her grandchildren and great grandchildren that will never be replaced and will always be cherished. Judy found comfort in being at home when she wasn’t working. Away from work and beyond her family, Judy was a tidy, frugal and very modest lady. She had several favorite television shows, including, “The Price Is Right,” and she enjoyed listening to music, particularly, Elvis. Her wit, hard work and enduring admiration for those she loved will be greatly missed.
