Judie Ellen Smith was born February 17, 1961 in Easton, MD to Robert and Nancy Williams of Centreville, MD. Judie went to be with Jesus on December 14, 2017.
She grew up in Centreville Heights and graduated from Queen Anne's County High School in 1979. Judie loved driving her Chevy Nova everywhere! She attended High Point College, High Point, NC. She married Joel Smith in 1986 And they raised their two children in High Point. She was a devoted homemaker and loved to decorate her home with lovely dolls that she collected.
Judie was a loving mother to Jessica Marie Barnhart and Ethan Douglas Smith and a loving grandmother to Xander Barnhart. She took great delight in teaching Xander to read and talked about what a smart child he was and how much he loved to learn. Her children and grandson were very devoted to Judie and loved her very much. She was always planning a new renovation project and enjoyed painting and cooking and growing African violets. Judie's accomplishments include writing and illustrating a series of short stories, writing numerous poems, creating Scripture cards for others, singing and listening to hymns and reading her Bible. She will be sorely missed by all of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Joel; her daughter, Jessica; her son, Ethan; her grandson, Xander, all of High Point, NC; her Mother, Nancy Williams of Centreville, MD; sisters, Jamie Albon (Michael) of Mount Joy, PA; Jonie Estell of Hobson, MT; Jenni Williams of Baltimore, MD and brother, Patrick Williams (Heather) of Raleigh, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Williams of Centreville, MD.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
