Joyce Jean Crater

Joyce Jean Crater, 62, of Archdale, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.

Born March 7, 1959, in Guilford County, she was a daughter to the late Alson Franklin Crater, Jr. and the late Luzinia Kindley Crater.  Joyce was a fuel clerk for Old Dominion Freight Carriers.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Fox, Jr. (Patricia) of Archdale and Jason Fox (Jessica) of Asheboro; brothers, Donald Crater, Tommy Crater both of High Point, and David Crater of Sophia; sisters, Linda Carswell of Gastonia, Judy Queen of Trinity, and Libby Byerly of Randleman; grandchildren, Kensley, Olivia, and Kashton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Crater.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Wright Funerals-Cremations.
